SAW BLADES
Saw Blades & Hacksaw Blades for Electrical & Trade Use
Shop saw blades and hacksaw blades at Order Electrical, with professional replacement cutting blades for electricians, installers, engineers, maintenance professionals and other tradespeople.
Saw blades are used throughout electrical installation work for cutting and modifying materials such as metal conduit, PVC conduit, trunking, cable tray, channel, timber, plastics and other suitable installation materials.
Our range can include hacksaw blades, junior hacksaw blades and power tool saw blades, providing options for both manual and powered cutting applications. Different blade types, lengths and tooth configurations are available to suit different materials and cutting requirements.
Hacksaw blades are particularly useful for electrical and mechanical installation work. Fitted to a compatible hacksaw frame, they provide a controlled method of cutting materials such as steel conduit, metal trunking, cable tray, threaded rod, brackets and other metal components.
Junior hacksaw blades provide a compact alternative for smaller cutting tasks and confined spaces, while suitable power tool blades can offer faster cutting where larger quantities of material need to be processed.
Depending on the products available, the range may also include jigsaw blades and reciprocating saw blades for cutting timber, metal, plastics and other compatible materials.
Choosing the Right Saw or Hacksaw Blade
Start with the material being cut. Blades intended for timber typically use a different tooth profile from those designed for steel, aluminium or other metals, so selecting the correct blade for the material will improve both cutting performance and blade life.
For hacksaw blades, consider the teeth per inch (TPI) as well as the blade length and fitting. Finer-tooth blades are generally better suited to thinner materials, while coarser blades can be more effective on thicker sections. Ideally, several teeth should remain engaged with the material during the cut.
For power tool blades, check compatibility with the specific jigsaw, reciprocating saw or other cutting tool, including the blade fitting, length and manufacturer's stated applications.
Also consider whether you need a blade optimised for cutting speed, durability or a cleaner finish. Bi-metal and other specialist blade constructions can provide advantages for demanding or repeated metal-cutting applications.
