Live Electrical SRN Consumer Units – Double Pole Dual Busbar
Shop our range of Live Electrical SRN Consumer Units at Order Electrical, featuring an innovative double pole dual busbar design and plug-on neutral technology for a quicker, cleaner and more organised consumer unit installation.
The Live Electrical SRN range has been developed around a practical plug-on neutral system. Compatible SRN RCBOs have no neutral flyleads, reducing unnecessary wiring inside the consumer unit and helping electricians achieve a quicker and tidier installation.
A key feature of the SRN system is its double pole dual busbar configuration, providing a distinctive approach to connecting compatible protective devices within the consumer unit. This, combined with the flylead-free RCBO arrangement, helps simplify the internal layout of the board.
SRN consumer units are available in different sizes and configurations to accommodate varying numbers of outgoing circuits, making them suitable for new domestic installations, consumer unit replacements, extensions and electrical upgrades.
The range can be configured using compatible Live Electrical SRN RCBOs, surge protection devices (SPDs), main switches and associated consumer unit accessories, allowing the appropriate circuit protection arrangement to be selected for the installation.
Individual RCBO protection provides combined overcurrent and residual current protection for each appropriate final circuit, while compatible surge protection can be incorporated where required by the installation design.
When choosing an SRN consumer unit, consider the number of circuits, available ways, RCBO ratings, surge protection requirements and overall consumer unit configuration. Compatible SRN devices should be used to ensure the components are correctly matched to the consumer unit system.
